Job Role: Manufacturing Manager

Location: Birmingham

Salary: 45,000 - 50,000 per annum (depending on experience)

Metalis are currently working with a UK leading manufacturer, who are looking for a Manufacturing Manager to join their team.

Job Duties:

Plan and organise production schedules, identify resource and shift requirements
Set & document worker performance goals, evaluate and review performance and identify training needs
Manage & maintain material recycling procedure in line with ISO14001
Liaise across teams and departments to ensure a smooth and efficient production process
Manage and maintain stocked material & component levels, liaising with purchasing and accounts
Ensure customer orders are completed on time and to budget and that quality standards and targets are met
Focus on continuous improvement that drives cost out of the business and improves efficiency
Complete monthly production meetings
Manage production team and recruitment needs

Job Requirements:

Minimum 5 years' proven experience in production, operations or manufacturing management
HND/HNC or apprenticeship in engineering, manufacturing or similar
Project Management experience is essential
Six Sigma experience and qualifications
Ability to read and follow technical drawings and specifications

Salary, Shift & Benefits:

45,000 - 50,000 per annum (depending on experience)
Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week
